Jaime Yvonne VandenBerg is a 24-year-old international model and human rights activist from Lethbridge, Alberta. She has won the titles of Miss World Canada 2021, Miss International Canada 2020, and Miss Earth Canada 2018.
She graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in legal reasoning.
Jaime VandenBerg is known worldwide for her activism and volunteerism towards gender equality, and has received an international Diana Award for her humanitarian work and social change efforts.
In her last year at the University of Lethbridge, Jaime won an essay writing competition where she wrote about her passion for fighting gender-based violence. As a result, she was awarded a full-ride scholarship to attend Semester at Sea, a study abroad program through Colorado State University where she travelled the world while taking university classes on a ship. This experience took her to Europe, Africa, and South and North America.
Jaime’s passion for human rights has also led her to become a model, where she has been able to travel the world while also continuing her activism.
She has modelled for international brands such as MANGO, Forever 21, Nike, Under Armour, and Tommy Hilfiger, and has worked with modelling agencies such as KAD Model Management in New Delhi. While in India, Jaime also did humanitarian work with Free The Children in Rajasthan.
Jaime is a plant-based travelling model who believes that with determination and passion, anything can happen, and anyone can make a change.
She also believes that everything happens for a reason, and that no goal is too big to achieve. As she continues her journey towards becoming a human rights lawyer, Jaime is excited for the next chapter in her life, and is ready to continue making a difference in the world.
Jaime VandenBerg is all set to represent Canada at the 71st edition of Miss World.
