Annie Zambrano, is a 22-year-old entrepreneur and student pursuing her bachelor’s degree in languages, who was crowned Señorita Ecuador 2022 (Miss World Ecuador) at the Concurso Nacional de Belleza Ecuador 2022 (CNB Ecuador) pageant held in April 2022 at the Teatro Sánchez Aguilar in Samborondón.
Annie represented Santa Elena in the pageant and will go on to represent Ecuador at the Miss World pageant later this year. Miss World 2022, Karolina Bielawska of Poland, was a special guest at the national competition and congratulated Annie on her win. Karolina expressed that she was proud of Annie and found her to be smart and loved her Beauty With A Purpose presentation.
Apart from Annie, Valery Carabalí was also a winner of the competition and was named Miss Supranational Ecuador 2022. She will compete for the Miss Supranational 2022 title in Poland this July. Gabriela Andrade and María Paula López were proclaimed Virreina Nacional and first princess, respectively.
Last year’s titleholders Amar Pacheco and Justeen Cruz successfully relinquished their reigns to their respective successors at the end of the event. Miss Supranational 2021, Chanique Rabe of Namibia, was also present at the event and congratulated Valery on her win.
Annie is not only a beauty pageant winner but also an entrepreneur with a degree in Italian and English Language and Linguistics obtained from University of Guayaquil. She is a promising representative of Ecuador and is expected to make a great impression at the Miss World pageant.
