Sini Shetty, is an Indian fashion model and beauty pageant winner, who recently achieved her dream of becoming Femina Miss India World 2022.
Despite her initial uncertainty about the win, Sini says that the competition was fierce and every contestant was unique in their own way. As a finance student, Sini believes that the journey to the crown has helped her become a better person, more confident and with a stronger personality.
Although born and raised in Mumbai, Sini is proud of her Karnataka roots. She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and finance from S. K. Somaiya Degree College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Vidhyavihar, Mumbai, and is pursuing a CFA as a professional course. She has worked as a product executive, actor, model, and content creator.
Sini started her passion for dance at the age of four, completing her Arangetram (debut performance) in Bharatnatyam at the age of fourteen. Her ability to turn her passion for dance into a full-time profession is what she takes the most pride in. Sini’s grandmother is the most influential person in her life, and she admires her for her compassion, values, intellect and respect.
Sini’s philanthropic heart is evident as she hopes to eradicate world hunger if given the chance. She also described herself as industrious, tenacious, empathetic, and a hustler. Her inspiration for the pageant comes from Priyanka Chopra, who once said, “Don’t try to squeeze into a glass slipper. Instead, shatter the glass ceiling.”
Sini’s favourite book and movie is Into The Wild, and she hopes to splurge on a vacation with her loved ones who helped her along her journey. With an internship at a marketing company under her belt and a bright future ahead, Sini Shetty is poised to achieve great things in the future.
